What wheel and slick setup?

This is for an 02 6spd.

Would like to run a 15" wheel, but don't know if it would clear the caliper. I also want to run a 24.5x8x15 MT ET drag. Preferably want to launch out of the hole on the 75 shot.

Let me know if I can run a 15" wheel and what manufacturer you guys would go with.

Thanks!

I don't think 15s will fit over your stock brakes. You might have to search long and hard to find a 15 that will, modify the wheel or your brake calipers, etc.

Your slick choices for 16" wheels are very limited, there are only a couple choices out there. Hoosier has a GTP DOT that will work and M&H has one that will work if you get a really wide 16" wheel, like at least 9-9.5". MT has a motorcycle slick that might work but it's pretty tall (27") so you get the point, not much selection for 16" wheels.

Damn, I was hoping that I could get away with a 15" wheel.

If I have to get a 16" wheel, I'll find something light and get some MT ET Streets (not the radial the one with 3 lines it)

try searching a little... Jime ran 15's on his 02 and I'm running them on mine. You just have to shave the calipers a little (about 1/8")

wow looks nice. I'm using 24.5" slicks, but 4th still tops around 120 so I have 6-7 mph of breathing room before I need to upgrade to 26's
