02 N/A Auto - 13.88 @ 99.95
Edgewater Raceway - 5/24/2013
DA: 741 - Temp: 72
Managed to get 1 good run in before a major crash shut down the track. Automatic stalled to 1500 rpm, no gate shifting, no drop resistor mod (no time). Full trim except for spare tire, jack, and floor mats.
60' - 2.175
1/8 - 8.974
MPH - 80.76
1/4 - 13.887
MPH - 99.95
Also, reflashed the ECU before coming to the track, but did not have time do the Idle/Throttle position relearn procedures. After the crash on the track I was able to do the Idle/Throttle relearn procedures and it seemed to have more umph/smooth out the curve. However, I did not get the chance to try it out due to crash on the track. Otherwise, I think I could've squeezed out a low 13.7 or possible high 13.6 with the idle/throttle relearn fixed, the drop resistor mod, and gate shifting, on this current setup.
Mods:
Cattman headers/y-pipe
Stock main cat
2.5" Cattman Catback
JWT Intake
Lightweight UDP
NWP 5 pc spacers
NWP BOP
Trans-Go Stage II
Upcoming mods: (parts in hand)
VAFC-II + tune
Test Pipe (replace stock main cat)
New Tokico Illuminas/Eibach Springs/Mounts (110k miles on current setup)
(Porsche ran 14.306 @ 98.41)
A 6th gen Maxima was also there and ran a 14.6. Not sure of mods.

Great numbers!! I need to get the transgo installed, I bounce the rev limiter on 2-3. Surprised you didn't gate shift, did the car shift at 6500 through all the gears?

Just kept it in "D" and brake torqued to 1500 rpm. Was going to gate shift on the next run, but a really bad crash shut the track down for the rest of the night. Next time out I plan on trying the drop resistor mod and gate shifting. Thanks for the kind words.

WOW, impressive. I'm fairly new to the Maxima world. I had no clue these cars with such low mods could pull those times. Good stuff!
Our cars are identical outside of the rims. What do you have on there? They're sweet.

I would be really curious how much power your car makes. I have a similar mod list to yours, but I don't have a cat-back, underdrive pulleys, or Spacers. I am tuned with a VAFC2 though. Either my car makes way less power than yours, or the Transgo upgrade really helps. My best 60' was a 2.19 to your 2.17, but my best time is a 14.5. Since your car is where I want mine to be would you say I should do the tranny upgrade or more power mods?
