Headlights For 85-86?

Hi gang, new guy here. I am looking to buy a pair of headlights for an 85 Maxima. I understand the same part was used on the 86 as well. I see one on eBay, but I am looking for a pair. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Headlights are hard to come by for the 85-86. I have an extra pair that I had to drive 100 miles total to get. If I find another set, I'll contact you but good luck. If you go to the dealership, they can look up an inventory list for surrounding dealers and it's possible that they will sell you New Old Stock at a fairly cheap price if they have it. I use the same method for my older VW wagon and the prices are usually good. Good luck hunting

Thanks! The 87-88 headlights aren't interchangeable with the 85-86 by chance, are they?

No, unfortunately. "Google" images of an '85 and an '87 (mine), you'll see the difference. '87s are much more angled next to the grill than '85-'86 lights...

Thanks! Probably a stupid question, but this light that I bought on eBay claiming to be from an 85-86 is really from an '87 then?

I'm not anywhere near the car for a few weeks. Trying to get all my ducks in a row so to speak.

Kinda sucks, but it is what it is. The headlights and cornering lamp modules were re-designed between '86 and '87.
