Could an improper alignment cause this?

Could an improper alignment cause this?
I discovered this week that my front tires had worn down on the inside to the radials due to improper toe adjustment. I got an alignment, and drove away to get new tires. I drove away in a hurry to get new tires, but I noticed that as I shift up, there a feeling in the steering wheel from the front right wheel, that feels like I hit a patch of ice and slid for a second. I went on and got the new tires put on the rear and rotated my existing rears to the front. Any ideas on what I should tell my alignment guy? Could something be loose from the adjustments? P.S. There are no camber or caster adjustments for my 88 GXE only toe.
UPDATE This afternoon my alignment guy found the issue. The lower control arm bushing had disintegrated from transmission fluid leaking on it. Solved another question as to why I was low every few weeks.

If the problem occurred immediately after your alignment, they are required to warranty the alignment. Get your spec sheet printed out for you. Sometimes alignment guys begin to 1/2-*** work just like any other profession.

Update!
Turned out to be the lower control arm bushing was eaten up completely. I had just replaced them in early 11' but the one on the left was getting wet from transmission blow back from the transmission cooler return line. The clamp had broken loose and was leaking fluid on to the bushing and it ate it up. Once replaced, every thing feels great! Thanks for your advice!
