Your not going to beleive this, but it actually works (I've done it myself after *%^$ing vandals spray painted my old car back in 1990). Go to the grocery store and get some "Lemon Extract Juice". I beleive McCormick brand sells it. It takes the paint right off and doesn't hurt your cars paint. A guy who used to work on typewriters tipped me in on this. He said it was the only way to get "white off" off of a typewriter without damaging the type writer itself. Good luck.

DO NOT use fingernail polish remover or oven cleaner!!! It WILL damage your paint.
to remove the overspray, you have several options.. if it's just the misty overspray crap, you can take it right off with a clay bar. If you actually 'painted' the car, you'll probably need to go to somethimg more aggressive, like rubbing or polishing compound and an electric buffer. That will take it right off, then you just need to re-wax that part of the car and you're done. will only take a few minutes.
If you got it on your glass (GLASS ONLY!!!), you can use a razorblade or some very fine steel wool and gently rub on the glass to remove it.
