Third Gen headlight retro

Well i got me some headlights for the third and i started to retro them. Here is one done.

what type of projectors are they?

and how much hacking did you have to do on the backside compared to my j30 setup?

They are fx projectors and i didnt have to hack much.

plus that should bolt in w/o modifications.... meanwhile i have to hack the hell out of my housings AND cut the radiator support to get mine in.

but will you have flash ability when the headlights are turned off? gonna use relays or something? I plan to use a projector similar to that... but in the E36 housing, that way i can flash the halogen when the HIDs aren't turned on, but once i turn the HIDs on i will just flip the shield. a pair of SPDT relays will do the trick nicely. of course my overall plans for lighting will be a BIT more manic than just that........ you will see.

I dont flash so i didnt really worry about that. I am using relays.

Well I'm not selling those. I made them for my personal third gen. I do however retro fit headlights. Shoot me a pm and i can give you a break down on parts and what not.

I know right lol. I have to figure out what to get. I may get all clears and paint them black.
