The 91 maxima I bought Sunday for parts has heated mirrors, rear defrost, cold AC, cruise control, power locks/windows but that's where it ends,

No power seats, no ABS, no sun roof, no Bose audio or any other fancy features however it is pre wired for fog lights witch it does not have. The socket is in the relay box and the fog lamp connectors are taped to the corner lamp harness.

I know the dash and door harnesses are pre wired for the heated mirror option but will they actually work if you install the mirrors and plug the switch in or will more wires need to be added. Are you doing the folding mirror mod too?

LOL, people already think heated mirrors are worthless (which couldn't be less true)

what I think this is, is an auto glass tilt function. like newer cars have that look downward when you are in reverse…I'm thinking you press the button and both mirrors look down, depress the button and they got back to their normal spots

although I don't have the switch yet so I can't confirm…

I believe there is a small arrow at the bottom of that line going thru the mirror symbol...

………………..

I'm talking about the icon on the LEFT

and grumpy the driver mirror on the white car I found on ebay, NOS heated mirror, and it worked with the heated mirror switch in the car, so No I didn't have to add anything but the mirror and switch to have heated mirrors in the pearl white...

I love the simplicity of the setup in the 4th gen. Pushing the rear defroster button automatically kicks in the heated mirrors, if so equipped.

I kept on seeing a wiper for the mirror, which doesnt make sense lol. You're probably right. Newer newer cars have freaking cameras. The gee whiz factor is off the charts, but I can never get used to them. I feel like I'm playing a video game, except its a real car that could kill someone.

mirror wipers are retarded but power folding mirrors are handy, my Crown has them and i fold them in everytime i park in a parking lot. saves fat chicks bumping into your mirror

Can any jdm fanatics tell me what year and car the switch is from in the bottom pic. On the first post? With the heat and power fold function. I'm trying to find one of these without any luck so far. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

LOL, I never seen that before two different switches one with heated and the other like most of you saying look like wipers, why would be wipers anyways. It's illogical to have a wiper on it, probably a mirror that move downward or something, who heck knows.

One is heated and powerfold and the other is heated and wipers. Those switches are jdm not usdm. They are either the s13 or s14. I'm trying to find that particular switch with the heated and folding buttons for my jdm mirrors but it's been next to impossible to find.

The symbol on the left enables a sonic vibration that cleans the mirrors. The mirrors do not have wipers
