It is labeled fog on the relay box cover by the battery in the engine bay. If there are no labeling on yours then I can send you the exact location when I go out to my car

Hi Tiniform, Sorry maybe my post wasn't very clear. I know exactly where it's located. What im looking for is a pic of the top of the relay for the fogs so i know which ones needed. I have aftermarket fog lights so i need to get connectors for the foglight side and run them into the factory harness. I have lots of spare relays but i just need to know which specific relay i need. Mine didnt come with fogs from the factory but all the wiring is there in the harness so i've put in the factory foglight switch where the blank plate was and plugged it in when i had my dash apart to put LED's in my cluster so basically i just have to put in the relay and fuse for the foglights.

The relay you need will have 4 connections on the bottom and is blue in color.

See page 6 in the El section of the FSM. Look at the second one in the list, type 1M.

Thanks Dennis, I do have some of those blue relays. I know some are brown, some green and some blue. I notice they have symbols on the top of the relay aswell. Do they vary between the blue ones or are they pretty much the same between the blue coloured ones?
Hense the reason i was looking for a pic. of the top of the relay so i could match it up with the one of the spares i have kicking around.

Ac, I responded to your pm but now that I've read dennis' post I maybe wrong about the color. I can definitely check it in the morning and let you know for sure.
And to answer the question above, no none of my max came with fogs but I installed them on both using the factory wiring. I modified the wiring slightly so my fogs are operable with the park lights

The contacts are different inside the different colored relays. If you look very closely at the diagram on the top of the relay, you will see a difference. The service manual says that the green and the blue are the same but I think the connection pins on the bottom are arranged differently.

Thanks Dennis, So would it be safe to say that all the blue relays are the same? And it doesn't matter which one i use as long as its blue? I have an assortment of blue, green and brown relays i took from another 3rd gen.
