Steering wheel off center after brake job?

Hello

Last week I replaced the rotors and pads on the front brakes of my 1993 Maxima. Now, for whatever reason, the steering wheel is a bit off centered. How can that be? I didn't touch any of the suspension hardware.

Thanks
Russ

As I tech I would tell you it's not possible, unless you touched something not related to the brake system. And it leaves me completely puzzled that the steering wheel was (or wasn't) straight before. As brakes don't have anything to do with steering.

Go see a professional. You likely already needed an alignment anyway. And your tires will thank you anyways.

Definitely not possible. Most likely explanation is that your steering wheel was always off-center and you for some reason just now noticed

Thanks for the replies. I've got an alignment appointment next week. The Maxima is a 4 wheel alignment?

Thanks.
