Differences between 02 and 03?

Okay so I'm in the market for my 3rd max, and I am definitely getting a 02-03. Could someone knowledgeable lay out all the major differences between the 2 years? Thanks!

if you get a 6 speed i believe the 03 has and hlsd

and also 03's can come in a titanium edition, which comes with titanium colored rims, guages and trim, and an auto dimming mirror, i believe thats about it

big diference is between 01's and 02's

HLSD was an option on 02 and 03 cars. It's well worth it if you can find one or swap it in. My 02 has auto diming mirror.

There may have been a few updates but I think the available features are the same.

All available opions were the same minus the wheels, Ti trim on the steering wheel, shifter & the chrome door sills.

From the NissanNews archives...

The Titanium Edition Package

Maxima's new Titanium Edition Package is a new option available only on SE models. The Titanium Edition Package features a Bose® audio system with AM/FM in-dash 6-disc CD changer, front seat side-impact supplemental air bags, in-mirror compass, floor mats and stainless steel sill plates with Maxima logo. It also offers titanium-tint color accents on the center console, titanium-tint accent stitching on the steering wheel and shifter, and alloy wheels with bright wheel finish. Valued at over $1,600, the package will be offered with an MSRP of $999.

There were also two new exterior paint colors offered with the titanium package: Sheer Silver and Polished Titanium.

HLSD was an option on SE 6 speed models for 2002 and 2003.

The titanium editon can compare to the SE-L version of the 99 Maxima. No power upgrades, only minor cosmetic upgrades.

I believe that the tempature (sp?) controls i.e. a/c are digital on the 03 which is the only thing that I am envious of.

Door Sills, Tail Lights, and other cosmetic features are easily "upgraded" to reflect AE/TI styling. Both years, along with the 99 are the best model maxima's I've ever driven from a performance standpoint

What do you mean wrong again? I guess I should clarify and say that the tails can be "upgraded" or changed easily, period. Not necessarily to reflect AE/TI styling but most 5.5's like the 01 SE tails.

Regarding the digital controls, all of the 03's I've seen have digital temp control. I'm not sure why yours is different. Anyone else with an 03 that can attest to this?

do you mean like auto climate control thing?

i think that's an option you can get with the 02. the manual controls are like the ones where you have a stick you move left or right to control temperature huh? is that the one you mean?

This is the most accurate description I've heard thus far. I have a fully loaded (minus Nav) 02, and I've heard a lot of things mentioned as being exclusive to the 03 that are on my car.

My car has all of this.

I have automatic climate control with digital tempterature display...

Mine are located on the side of my front seats, toward the outside. If you look, the leather gives way to an inbedded plastic box that says airbag on it.

Not sure about this... someone will have to chime in. Mine are located in normal fashion, front one-touch power windows, rears are not. Memory seat controls on the side of the driver door near where the lock is. I didn't notice any difference here, I could be wrong. (Also, sunroof is a one-touch slide, not sure if this was different). I have a feeling these are the same.

On the outside edge of the seat. IIRC, there is an airbag tag stitched into the outside edge of the drivers and passengers seat too.

The first pic is from an 03 and the second is an 02. Both have auto up down on both sides. They look completely different. Even the trim panel is different.
