Fs: 96 5mt NISTUNE ecu
SOLD
I am looking to sell my 96 5MT Nistune ECU to fund a project I've had on the backburner for a while.
I shipped this ECU to Austrailia to have Matt at Nistune install the Nistune board. I have been using this ECU in my car for about a year now. I will restore the ECU back to stock maps (I am not a fan of cookie cutter tunes) with the exception of a butter smooth 7200 RPM rev limit before shipping
I am asking $400 + shipping & paypal fees.
Apologies for the tiny picture

Yea i just looked at the pins and 96 has the evap emissions parts that the 95 doesn't have and no you can't disable any codes with the nistune consult. Jwt and nistune both use daughter boards its just jwt wont give you the access or ability to change anything they want you to send it back to them so they can charge you a hundred bucks and nistune will sell you the the license so you can tune it yourself and change whatever you want

Yes if you want gain the access to the nistune consult you have to purchase a product key/ license. if you don't purchase the product key/ license then you would have to find your local nistune tuner if there is one. And yes to connect to the ecu you need to download the nistune consult software from their website then enter the product key/ license and then to connect you need to purchase a consult/usb cable if you don't have one which nistune sells also or you can buy it somewhere else.

Damn, I wish you had posted this up a few weeks ago, I just bought a 95 ECU and the Nistune board. I take it you never got it dyno tuned (you mentioned the cookie cutter tune)? How did you like it otherwise?

Its great. The software took a little getting use to coming from an eManage ultimate, but its much more precise.
Nope haven't dyno tuned it, just have a half assed street tune on there now just to get it running with the Q45 MAF.

I honestly have no idea if its a fed spec ECU or not. Cable and License are $240 from autovaughn http://www.autovaughnperformance.com...hk=1&Itemid=73
