Just sent you an e-mail.

I have a pdf file (about 233K in size) that I can e-mail to you.

Let me know.

I just took mine out last week and believe me #15 doesn't move... it's bolted down thru the top. #14 is a thick rubber part, so it'll allow the spring some movement.

Nissan part number is 54325-31U01 - about $18. Looks like it is the same for all 95-99 Maximas.

I was told that if I have creaking when accelerating that I need to replace the strut bearings, does that sound right?

the part is bolted in that swivels with the spring. It has almost an external part that swivels. It is almost like a bearing that is surrounded by plastic that swivels, if that makes any sense.

Tim could u send me the pdf for front n back

ATP9814@NJIT.EDU

also... if u guys could help me out...

i took apart my front suspension at 15k miles..it had no problems..but i needed soem of hte parts from it for my air bag suspensoin...
i went back to struts n springs...
but when my mechanic put hte assembly back together..he didnt know how everything went...
so now even on lil bumpy roads..it sounds like thump thump thump...
the ride is kinda ok..but u can hear n feel it a bit..

is there something that needs replacing or should i just take it apart..n reassemble the unit..n try again

also arent there 3 bearings...2 that are metal n one that is plastic
