It was on a car someone was selling on ebay a while ago. The trunk was a 95-96 and the outer taillights were 97-99 (they weren't cleared out, but nonetheless, reversed).

I don't think it looked too good. But it's your car

Haha, no... I am not doing this. I do on the other hand want to see how bad this really looks.

We need to show the manufacturers how horrible it is and how much the 95-96 owners need some taillights made.

Hey, what's wrong with swapping the inner lights too? I've thought about it. Would it look that different than the '97s?

You have to do a whole 97-99 rear end conversion (could get expensive). Info on this is in the faqs.

It's supposed to look like crap. Besides, I have no skills with photoshop.

Someone must've tried this before, I really want to see a real picture of the 97+ outer red/clears with the 95-96 inners just like that mspainted jpeg above. Haha.

Someone just do it and take some real pictures. Or someone do a really good photoshop. Hahaha.

Eh. If there's that many like that together, it might give us seizures.

I just want to see one for now.

this thread needs to die...

people have said they've seen a few maximas riding around new york like that, but no one on here has it or has done it and if they have, they certainly won't post it because it doesn't match and looks ridiculously stupid.

if you want the 97 outers on, be sure to match it with the 97 inners, or else you'll look like a pos ricer car.

i don't mean to come off like a jerk, but the lights won't match in color, style, and will be visual diarreah(sp?).

I know about that mod, I'm saying has anyone taken the '96 tails in clear, redded the TOP half, left the bottom clear, put it on with the bulbs reversed? If that works ok, and looks ok, thats a lot cheaper than the 97-99 rear end swap.
