Just heat up the glue (I used a heat gun) and take off the letters (use a little string to scrape it off - like a fishing line). Now for the left over glue, just heat it up and then ball up a clean rag in your hand and just rub the heated glue and it'll come off.
Don't try to scrap off the glue with a screw driver or something b/c that'll scratch the paint. Heating it up is the best method

I'd like to clean up the trunk of my black GXE.....but will the paint have more shine behind the emblems after I remove them?? If thats the case I'll probably just leave them.
Also, are they all just glued on or are there holes for the Nissan badge?

No holes. Just an adhesive backing.

i used goo gone on a wash rag... it worked better after the current dosage dried on the rag and more friction was created, and it kind of rubbed it off... the only paint that was damaged was from my finger nail...
my advice... get a damp wash rap and start rubbing really hard... heat will build and your adhesive will start to wear off... just keep spraying some windex to clean everything up ever so often...

I used adhesive remover from 3M and some elbow grease cause I didnt have a heat gun or blow dryer... It came of sweet cause I was lucky enough to have the adhesive peel off letters at a time... The light scratches from my finger nail (which was hurting) was removed with 3M polishing compound very fine...

i took the letters from my trunk 2 weeks ago. used some dental floss to slide it out. no heatgun or blow dryer. then just put goo gone and just kept rubbing. total time about 45 mins. fingers started to numb a bit after all those rubbing.
