how much $$ was ur Max. and how many miles were on it?
just wondering what type maxima everyone had, what they paid for it, and how many miles were on it.

96 se 5spd green with 96k miles cloth interior paid 7k for it at auction over 3 years ago with a bad clutch which was a steal considering all the other ones i looked at were over 9k at the time

What I went home with 9 months ago....
97 SE, 5 spd, black, tan leather, moonroof
$6,500 w/ 120k on it
repairs done ---
- clutch replacement
- front right bank o2 sensor
134,xxx on it currently
My other 5spd maxima options were at the time...
97 SE, 5 spd, rosewood, black/gray cloth, moonroof
$5,000 w/ 130k on it
-- car was hard starting and one of the tires were low, rotors didn't look too great, car fax report showed that some years the car wasn't inspected and it had 3 previous owners.
98 SE, 5spd, green , black/gray cloth, moonroof
$8,600 w/ 100k on it
-- car made all sorts of noises when shifting gears (I was too scared to even leave the lot during the test drive), dealer said they would fix it by time of sale, but the price tag was a $1000 out of my range. Dearler would not place any type of warranty on the car no matter what.

Apr/04 my 97 SE fully loaded (minus ABS, unfortunately) with 77k for $6k.
Some crack head dealership locally that deals only with used cars is trying to offload a 99 SE with 69k miles for _13 FREAKING THOUSAND DOLLARS_. People actually buy cars from them too. Sad thing is KBB actually thinks it's worth $12,800 too

1996 Maxima SE 5 speed - Tan leather, bose, heated seats, sunroof, almost anything that was available

This past summer
Tranny replaced under warantee
Had to replace clutch & knock sensor, and did all maintenence items
Now has 136xxx miles
