Eyelids!!

Eyelids!!
Well i painted my eyelids and they look dope....will post pics later but I have a quick question....I don't trust double sided tape and I plan on leaving the eyelids on forever cause I have a backup pair of headlights anyways so do you think if I use gorilla glue it will **** up the headlight or become weak during the summer/winter or while the headlight is hot? What else can be used? Thanks for the tips!

Ok, since i was about to post myself on this topic, i'll just hijack your thread
I used doubleside tape, and it sucked! I cut the eyelids in 2 parts, corner light and main one. Corner one has no problems sticking, but the main ones come off every week or so. So i talked to my friend and he said use "epoxy" (not sure how u spell it). He was right, that **** sticks like nothing else...only problem, CF eyelids starting to peel off in layers now =/ So the glue would still stay on the headlight, but the eyelid would be off. ANd with that, a layer of CF. Had to reglue 2 times already, but nothing helps, unless i nail those suckers, or continue gluing and loosing layers of an eyelid For me, reason it does that, is because headlights are curved and eyelids are not, so they try to 'straight out' all the time, which makes them detouch from healight
P.S.: its 1 in the morning and i'm really pist about eyelids not sticking, so if you didnt understand my 'bliberish', its ok
P.P.S.: as for eyelids, there was a group buy in December of 04. Custom made somewhere near LA

this is what i did,
1.) Cleaned the area of the headlights i plan to attach the eyelids to with rubbing alcohol.
2.) i turned my car on, turned the headlights on. ( About 10 min)
3.) i heated up the 3m double sided tape before and while appling to the car.
Those puppies are stuck on so tight, i'd feel sorry for any idiot trying to take them off (i did a couple of days ago, no luck , need a heat gun)

I did mine using GTO clear headlight cover cut them the way i wanted them with a dremel and used the doublesided tape that came with them looks pretty good i need to take some pics later
u can paint them any color u need with some touch up paint to match ur car
the hood when closed presses the top of the eyelid and helps hold it in place

you gotta use the 3m doublesided tape. not that other crap. 3m will stick like no other. if you use epoxy, i believe its permanent so think about it before you go about doing it. its super strong tho.

i just used that black tar stuff that holds the tail lights in.... heat it up with a hair dryer and put it on... they were on for about 3 1/2 years with no problem until someone stole one on me.... =o(

i used 3m double sided tape,it's waterproof too. it stayed for 2 months until i took 'em off,and i had a hard @ss time takin' 'em off! I had the ones from CustomEnterprise ($80 ones-haha i was dumb). But 3M should definitly work.
