Check this out. My 4th Gen got a spot in an Import Tuner Mag

Ha, the 4th Gen Maxima continues to survive even as it gets ripe with age. Got a few pages of mine in a import magazine here. Thought I would snap some shots and post them up for a quick look.

Article was about how I got the car here, some drag racing, mods, and it being a left hand drive. Nothing special but a little action none the less for the 4th Gen Maxima.

That's awesome! Good to see a 4th gen featured like that. Congrats!

Do you have the magazine you could save in a .pdf or something? I would love to read the article.

well the maxima is starting to get some exposure now from a seasons worth of drag racing, and articles like this. over here not many people would ever dream we have the options such as mods, or have a clue regarding the potiental of our cars. its exciting to me even still. i can work on puttin the pdf up for download

about the pdf article, I'd love to read it too. Congrats on the exposure, and as always, keep up the good work. On another note...when are you going to update the member rides section with some awesome Maxima/NZ scenery shots. I'm always down for those!

Awesome Ceasar! Wait til they see the full potential of your maxima with a DE-K or a 3.5vq swap. I find it funny when they said that the steering wheel is on the wrong side. We, in the US, think their steering wheels are on the wrong side.

There's a problem with the artice - it says "James liked his Maxima for it's VQ35DE engine, which has now covered 270k kms". On the third pdf page. Looks sweet still, and can't wait to fully read it.

Edit: didn't realize that this was a rough draft...hope they fixed that! Is there anyway to get a final copy of the full article including pics as a pdf file? Are we able to get this NZ mag over here in the states?

Respect Ceasar!

Its fantastic to see a well done Maxima get some attention in a magazine. If I remember correctly you were thinking of a motor swap. That would make you even faster in the quarter and may get you right back that magazine or another one.

Keep up the good work.

thanks guys, yeah in post 25, you can read the rough drafts which needed corrections in the article and spelling correction, and references to the vq35de.

Awesome. Congrads Ceasar! The car looks great and I dont remember ever seeing a 4th gen in car magazines

If u get the engine swap and weight reduction, you should definately get in low 13's or even break into 12's.

Good luck and I hope my future wife will be as much into cars as yours is )

You'll need to check caesar's website, he's already at the most possible weight reduction maximums.

yeah that seat is taking ages to get here, still sitting in the states, and the chariot is at 2,649 lbs. its right aroudn the same weight as travis sentra that ran those good times with the vq35de.

dandymax is going to help me with more weight reduction, got another 25-35 lbs i can yank out.
