Re: Needing opinions. Is this a good deal to you?
Here is the car that I have been looking at:
1998 Nissan Maxima SE
189,960 miles
Manual
Green / Tan Leather Interior
Fully loaded with Leather, heated seats and Side Air Bags
No stains, rips or tears. Car is extremely clean. The driver's side fog light lens is broken and there are light stratches in 6-12 inch circle area on the hood that can easily be buffed out with a light polish. I am assuming the tranny shifts fine. I haven't driven it yet. The price is at around $3500. Thoughts?

Sounds like a deal to me. I paid $2700 for mine. He wanted $3500 for it though. Its a 97 Black on Black SE. Already had the y-pipe and intake, but had some minor body damage. Ask if the clutch has been replaced, mine went the day I got it home.

This is from a dealership so I don't know if they the records. I am being told that it has never been wrecked (they were able to tell the paint depth on each panel with some gauge). It also comes with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty supposedly.

I would definately suggest the carfax for sure. Dont always believe a dealer b/cuz they just want to make a sale especially if it's a small used car dealer (not sure in your case). Just dont rush into something. From personal experience just wait around a little longer and make sure your confident in your choice and if there is any doubt dont do it. 3000 is the maximum price i'd pay for the car.
