Just looking to get some opinions from orgers using this catback. How does it compare to some of the competition. Thanks.

I have the WS 2 universal muffler with a custom b-pipe on my '99. I love the way it sounds and looks.

yeah they dont make the specific WS catback for the maxima anymore unless you find overstock somewhere.. but, I think they may still make the muffler itself.

I could agree there, just because of the price difference, I had the WS on my '95 auto before I got rid of it and it sounded amazing. But I painted the b-pipe cause it wasn't SS if I recall. mybe I'm thinking wrong, but anyways.

Could you explain the difference? I'm interested as well. Sound is PRIMARY, though. I hate that big boomy resonance that so many aftermarket exhausts have...

the WS has nice quiet mellow deep tone when ur cruising but at WOT its sounds amazing...IMO the cattman is a tad louder at ruising speeds and lil bit of drone

^^^^^^^^ it reminds me of the HKS sport except quite a bit quieter. As far as the cattman, its a bit more drony and a little louder (of which it is hardly, so you could say the WS has the most perfect quiet low note until you get on it).

Also when you let off it didnt seem have as much back flow noise. (Ie. gargling) Dunno why but thats IMO

...Wait. Are you saying the Cattman is louder and has more drone, or were you saying the WS is louder and has more drone compared to the Cattman?

Apexi WS (very deep, humble, roars ar WOT) > Cattman (louder with more drone).

Like I said the cattman is pretty decent with not too much drone to begin with lol.

The apexi ws muffler has less drone. I used to have the stillen catback and even that had way more drone than the apexi ws.

They don't make it anymore? Maybe I just got overstock but I just bought a Apexi WS 2 catback (97-99) for my '99.

Took 6 weeks, but I got it.
