Ideas for an adapter plate?

I bought a cone filter and went to install it, and the brass plate from the air box just isn't long enough to hold it up (the filter is biggg.)

Are there any aftermarket plates that would work? I'm not too hot on the idea of spending $150 for a cai right now.

if you got some dimensions and drew something up, I might (and I mean might) be able to make you something. It would take me a while though.

That's not necessary... all I'm looking for is a 3" diameter tube with a plate attached to one end that I could drill mounting holes into. Couldn't find anything at Home Depot :P

that's why I was gonna make you one out of aluminum.....custom. Because in reality, it might be slightly marketable to try and make something new that would bolt onto the MAF. I know where are adapter plates out there, but are they long enough to do the same thing? It's your call man. Good luck finding something.
