Need wiring diagram for Bose radio

does anyone have the diagram of what each wire is? im just going to splice into them directly as i have a bose so i need to run new speaker wires so i just want to connect the memory (continuos power), acc(when the car is on), illumination, and power antenna. i want to get this done tommorow so please help out people. i searched for radio wiring, radio install, radio wire diagram and didnt find anything usable.

Here ya go buddy

i have a document that displays all the colors but after a quick Examination its copyrighted.. so ill just list them off... oh.. and btw buddy.. theres an Audio section just for this kinda thing


Radio

Battery (+) Pink/Blue
Accessory (+) Blue/Black
Ground (-) Black? -to- Chasis (bolts connecting Stereo Chasis to Frame)
Illumination Red/Blue
Dimmer Red/Orange
Power Antenna Black/Red

Speakers - Front
Left (+) Blue/White
Left (-) Blue/Yellow
Right (+) Brown
Right (-) Brown/White

Speakers - Rear

Left (+) Red
Left (-) Green
Right (+) Blue
Right (-) Pink

I take no responsibility for the accuracy of this information - due to the fact that i do not personally know the information. I used a wireing harness. but hey your gonna save 15 Bucks so whos coming out better? good luck man!

Hi All,
I am a new user in to this forum..and its not allowing me to post a new thred.im from INDIA and i have bought a bose amplifier,speakers and a sub woofer from USA and got delivered.But im trying to understand various wires coming out of amplifier.Can some one help me please to guide me what wire goes to which devise..i can send the closeup pics of the wires if any could guide me with the mail id. You have the speaker amplifier and the speakers from a 2001 Nissan Maxima. To make the system complete, you still need a head unit (radio tuner, CD player etc).

Here is a link to the 2001 service manual. You want to look in section EL (electrical). The block diagram is on page 173 and the wiring diagram starts on page 177.

Also, here is the wire color codes used by nissan.

Wire Color Abbreviations

B = Black
L = Blue
BR = Brown
CH = dark Brown
DG = dark Green
G = Green
GY = Gray
LG = light Green
OR = Orange
P = Pink
PU = Purple
R = Red
SB = Sky Blue
W = White
Y = Yellow

Bob - would you consider changing the color of the link? Those of us that use the dark color theme have a hard time reading it. Maybe make it more towards pure red?

No problem - see above. I copy it from where I keep it in an Outlook Note; the link is a different color there and I haven't figured out how to change it.
