ok guys. it is now down to the wire. Im sitting here, mind boggling, tense decisions to make. the next decision will determine my daily trials and tribulations for about the next 4 years as at the 4 year mark, i'd be looking into getting myself another ride.

Whats more reliable? Whats More Worth The Cash? Im at my wits end here. I have 4K dollars to put toward my 98' maxima. I have a VQ35DE engine I found on ebay lined up to purchase for $845.00. and a VQ30DE 5 Speed tranny ready for purchase. Or Get a rebuild kit to rebuild my 150K+ VQ30DE and find (I cant find it for anything) The true dual runner Intake manifold to make my VQ30DE a "VQ30DE-K" Your next responses determine my future. What would you do?

POWWAA is the 3.5... And a 5 speed swap? No, why not a 6 SPEED SWAP!?!??!?
Holy Crap, that'd be a Dream...
BUT, your 3.0 is still young... And a 00VI is pretty damned affordable; mix that with an Exhaust and the appropriate tuning... She'd be a Beast with less work.. and everyone know the 3.0's are Wayyy Over Built compared to the 3.5's
Than again, you Could buy a 3.5 and BUILD that Bish like noones Buisness... My mouth is watering...
But wait.... How much can you handle? How much Trq are you wanting? We talking N/A power or FI?
We talking a steady 300 HP N/A, or a good 380 S/C?
Reguardless... Get ahold of Cattman and get yourself a Great Exhaust system; and buy the appropriate tuning hardware for your needs... VAFC, Emanage, JWT ECU.. Ect.

Agreed. There are so many avenues to go. Its a function of what u want to do.
Or lets be economical about this. Superchargers are crazy expensive when compared to jus the engine swap. And when ppl talk about superchargers u sitll have to get into the internals of the engine and make changes. Its a lot.
Then there is the engine swap. Im more a fan of all engine power and i think this install would be easier and less expensive. But will the transmission match up with the engine. Thats a potential issue.
I dont mess with the engine internals cuz its alotta work and i need my car on a daily basis. No time to swap and to troubleshoot potential issues.
THe 6-speed would be dope man. If u got 4 grand...trade in your car and get the 04 maxi man or the 3.5 altima. I think that would be a better way to spend the money...jus my .02
