I'm sorry if I sound really stupid but I need some help. I have a 98 maxima, needs some work, but runs good. Sometime in the future, I'd like to buy a turbo kit and install it on the max. I have no clue what to do when it comes to this. Do I need certain parts plus the turbo kit or can I just buy the kit? Is it really as easy as just following some instructions for installing?

^Agreed. Especially read the stickies there.

There is no such thing as a turbo kit for 4th gens. Besides the basics like the turbo, wastegate, injectors and fuel management, it has to be all custom made. There are no instructions. LOL It's a custom user preferred install as there are several ways to do it.

You may want to consider these books. I have them and have learned a great deal from them.

Just want to chime in and say many if not the majority of the stickies in that subforum contain dead links.

Still a good place to start and plenty of info but it really does need a good bath..
