OEM clutch with oovi, y-pipe?

Hey

Just want to get some input regarding my setup and a clutch match up.

So far:

I have a y-pipe, 00vi (EU for tune + rev limiter increase) and not like it matters an ebay intake.

I found on ebay a combo deal with an exedy 06044 clutch and fidanza 11 pound flywheel for 500 US shipped.

I don't plan to go further in modifiing my motor.

Worth while or nah.

I did some research saying that the cluth just holds stock power...but im not sure.

Any input would help.

You'd be fine with a stock clutch, with what little power increases you've got. As long as you don't drive like an idiot, that is.

Personally I'd just go stock 5th gen for ~$200, call it a day.

If you dont want the flywheel I wouldnt change the clutch (unless its bad). I have a MEVI, full exhaust, and flywheel (and other minor power stuff) and the 5th gen clutch has always been fine for me.

With your mods, waste of $$.

If and when your clutch fails, go 5th gen.

Ironically I'm still on my stock clutch. You are fine with stock.

Kind of depends on how aggressively you're going to be launching off the line to answer that question.

If your clutch is not showing any signs of needing replacement then skip the replacement. A stock clutch in good shape will hold up to that power at the track perfectly fine. I would definitely not spend the money in your situation. The flywheel is fairly useless as well in my opinion. Don't bother.
