Drop the engine or no?

I have several things that i need to replace and fix and my 96 maxima. I am going to replace the radiator the EGR valve the knock sensor, coil packs, plugs, and the rear valve cover gasket. I know its a lot of work and my question is; would it be easier to drop the entire engine out of the car to replace this stuff or just work on it with the engine in the car. I will be working at a shop and have everything i will need just needing some opinions on this.

Not worth it I think. I have done all those things you have mentioned and it will not be that hard or take as long as taking the engine out. You said you will do it at a shop and that will make your job easier. Plus you can do half of the repairs one day and the rest another day. If you pull the motor the car will not be running.

As for the radiator, knock, coilpacks and plugs you DO NOT need to drop the engine. I don't know about the egr and the rear gasket.

You want to drop an engine for these little things?? Why couldn't we access a shop to do things like the RMS and Rear timing cover o-rings??....
