Cupholder Issues... (Ridiculous, I know)

So I have a weird issue and couldn't find anything else remotely close on the forums about this, but the cupholder doesn't really want to stay in.

A little pressure will make it fall out of place, it's really strange. I've taken it out, examined it and see if any clips or anything was broken, but it seems perfectly fine.

So if anyone could help me with any suggestions or ideas or maybe I'm blind and can't figure out how to fit it in properly, but any help is appreciated! Thanks.

P.S: I can provide pictures if needed.

...You should have 3 clips, open them up a little & see if that works

Do you have all 3 clips? No obstructions? Pics might help.

Hey I had the same problem with my cup holder, I checked and doubled checked but no common sense way to keep it from moving. I went to walmart and got some strong clear elmore's glue and I'm good. yeah, I know I cant remove it but, if i needed to move it I wouldn't glue it down. It would be bad to have a drink in there and the freakin cupholder slips.

Same problem here. I removed my cupholder to clean the soda goo that had been left by the previous owner. Once removed it didn't want to stay clipped in anymore....so I just shot a screw into the plastic. It works fine and doesn't look bad if you use a black flat head screw.
