My car has a broken MAP/Baro switch solenoid valve. Yes it has taken me ages to discover this. The car runs fine. . .
On this diagram
, (part 5 in the upper diagram) the top hose shown is dangling in the air because the inlet port on the valve is broken off, and the lower port on the valve has been sealed (by someone other than me) with sealant, presumably because the plastic bit is also broken off.
I'll have to see if any org members have one for sale, but in the meantime, does anyone know what - if any - effect this problem has on performance or whatever? Thanks.
