Front bearing / hub problem

Hello All.

I need to replace my front wheel bearing. Car was making noise when driving plus there is a play on wheel when car is on lift. Now, when I replace bearing should I replace hub as well? I dont have to much $$$ right now and dont want to buy new hub if old one is still in good condition (which I dont find out till everything is seperated).

Czesc, you can re-use the hub but the bearing is pressed into it so either you have to do it or take it apart and take the hub and bearing assembly to a shop to press out the old bearing and press in the new bearing.

I have seen wheel bearings on a Jetta so bad the hub was worn to the point of the bearing races being loose on the hub. You might order one locally in case you need it. If not, just dont go buy it.

National Brand bearings = OEM supplier for many manufacturers, not sure for Nissan though.

Just replace the hubs along with the wheel bearings. You can get OEM ones from nissanpartsasap.com.
