Car Shakes Bad ~20-30 MPH

The whole car shakes, but you can mostly feel it in the steering wheel. You can kind of feel the shake 'ramp up' until 22mph where it seems to not increase anymore. But its real bad, like not safe at all. I'm to nervous to see if it shakes beyond 30mph.

It doesn't shake while still. This should rule out motor/tranny mounts.
You can definitely feel it from the front. This should rule out the rear.
I checked all wheel bearings, and took the hub off for a visual as well.
The halfshafts were replaced about 4000 miles ago (brand new not reman).
I rotated all the tires.
Everything in the front is tight.

Yet it still shakes. I have to add, that this suddenly happened the other day. It wasn't gradually getting worse.

Welp, it was the transmision. I just finished looking over everything again, and took it out for a test drive. It ran fine for about 3 miles. Then the tranny grinded, I put it in neutral but it was still grinding. So I put it in park and turned the car off. I got on the ground to get a look and when I put my hand on the tire the car started to roll back.

:/

WTF? Are you sure it is your transmission. Maybe you need your tires re-balanced. It will be cheaper than rebuilding a transmission anyway.

The question is whether the shaking comes from the engine or the suspension? I would imagine it should be pretty simple to tell. I'm leaning towards engine, since you'd really have to **** your suspension up completely to have it shake like that.

I don't know why you checked wheel bearings/hubs? No point, bearings wouldn't make your car shake like that, a bad bearing would lock up when hot and pull your car to the side, but not shaking. Seems like your engine is misfiring/AFR is messed up and I would first look at things such as the MAF, IACV, etc. Either that, or it can be a bad FPR/Injector.

Good luck dude!
