sunload sensor replacement

Has anyone replaced this sunload sensor? My 99 auto climate control self-diagnosis fails with a 25 code, even with a bright light shining on it. Not sure if it pops out somehow from the top of the dash (hopefully)?

Are you referring to the sensor that is attached to the defroster grill? If so, the grill just pops out.

When you remove the electrical connector, try taping it down to the dash or something, if it falls in it may be a PITA to fish out
