Best intake

So which is the best intake for the Maxima? One that will add at least 15hp and sound like a V8?

Even if I route it out in front of my grill and use a 6in filter?
That should make mad crazy power right?......

For maximum street cred, zip tie two battery powered leaf blowers on the hood of your Max and have a twin V super induction intake going through a hole in the hood, or through the grill; your preference. Coupled with the electric supercharger, you'll be making mad power son.

Make sure to add at least 3 K&N stickers for 5hp a piece, straight pipes just behind the front tires (don't worry it will sound AWESOME), and some chrome fender vent stickers.

I actually was considering doing the V twin intakes and routing each one through a hole cut out from bumper. Using electric motors is a good idea, twin electric super chargers.
9's for sure!

Turbonator. You can thank me later when you take it to the track. I know a guy who installed it, said he blew the stripes off of his car while running the 1/4. He's now back to QNO. Not by choice. Be careful, if you like your paint.

Fine, I'll play. You want to add a nice air vent to your grill like this:

And then route a nice cold air system to it, like this:

You're welcome

Here's another idea. You can probably mimic this guys quad air intake setup too.

and don't forget it's equally important to do the exhaust as well.

Usually, I recommend people with such a dilemma to do a PLUGGED INTAKE mod together with a DRIVER mod and maybe then a nice Maxima will arise...

Get a Ypipe!
I had a b4 and after on a Sorry A$$ Injen and I gained 8whp....But in the realworld at the track it bogged the car down @ higher RPM cause it's to freakin restrictive trying to ingest air thru a 39" long intake tube....The Factory intake system is really short as hell...like 12"- 14" from the TB to the Bellmouth inside your airbox! Short big tubing breather better at Higher Rpm (Horsepower)! Long or small tubing creates more gas velocity resulting in more torque especially at lower Rpm's!

What's fishy about my experience with the Injen Intake Mod I installed and removed after it was obviously limiting/hamperering my output:

^^ I guess nothing fishy then, nevermind.

But speaking of HAMPERING, this mod here is known to be the best at hampering your car:

Thanks man, I've been looking for a manufacturer that made piston return springs for Maximas. Good find!

I have had a Budget stainless steel y-pipe and K&N panel filter for 10 years. I have seen a dino on motorvate.ca showing a 15 whp and 18 ft. lbs. torque increase. All I know is if I put my foot in it in 2nd gear (5-speed) I am set back in my seat. I am not into noise whatsoever, so I like this combo.

I bought the AWD kit, $650 is a steal! I just wish I had a need for a metric left handed screwdriver.

That direct exhaust injection setup is sick!
If I were to run each cylinder outlet with 2.5in maybe 3.0in im sure it would make even more power
