0325 and 1446

1446 - Anyone had it trip from being full of water?
Hi all, I read another other post here about 0325 and 1440 relating to fuel spilling
I also have the 0325 and 1440 codes (both with a P and without). I have not filled up yet to see if there is a filling issue. I have reset the codes, turned the car off twice and drove 5 miles. Code has not returned. What I am curious about is why I am returning the 0325 code if the knock sensor says it will NOT trip a CEL? Is it only in conjunction with a 1440 Evap can closed code?
Car has 53,000 mi on a 1998 in original condition. Just relocated from Ohio to FL.
Edit: See below about the water logged EVAP can

A knock sensor code will never trigger the CEL light, but it will be stored in the ECU if you were to check for codes.
The KS code is famous for being a piggyback code...meaning take care of your P1440 issue and the KS code should go away.
Driving 5 miles may not be enough for the car to go through enough cycles to check everything.

Thanks Wiz, and your right - ride home it tripped again. Checked the FSM and looks like I'm checking for clogged Evap lines, and testing the vent control valve and control system pressure sensor.
It did rain significantly and the FSM says to check for a water-logged canister, so I'm curious if anyone has ever had it trip from a bad rain, and then clear itself in a few days?
