go get a scanner and reset yourself, or ask any mechanic to reset it... or advance auto parts has a scanner and can reset the light.. if they refuse to, ask them to borrow it for a second and then reset it.

You don't need a scanner or a mechanic and the auto parts store won't clear it.
Pull the codes, instructions are in the post above, fix the problem, then follow the link above again and clear the codes.

just get a scanner. in the future if the light comes back you can just read it, fix it, clear it.

It's always on for a 4th gen? That's good I did emissions 2 months before. Got 2 years till expired. My 96 caprice cop car always had it on for 3 years straight. Had to get rid of it. And that tutorial really helped. But when someone puts the scanner it was p1105 which was the same as the 1302 I read by doing it with screwdriver.
