Radiator cap help
#3
Im asuming it's the original rad. I can't tell you the history of the car. Nor can I take the cap back. I can maybe send it back.
You can first start by giving me the oem cap part number to compare to the one I have. Maybe a picture also.
Then maybe recommend a radiator just incase I have to change it.

A transmission cooler could be just a few loops of tubing, but it could be more complex in that there are cooling fins like the radiator uses added to the tubing. It depends on how much cooling you want to have.

This may be of some value as well...

I'll check again but I see it trickleing from under the cap.
I may just replace the radiator with a all aluminum one. But where to purchase from?

Aluminum radiator, why? The OE or aftermarket replacements provide adequate cooling, unless you want looks, put your hard earned $$$ elsewhere.

I had a leak from around the cap about 3 months ago. It turned there was a very small crack at the neck of the radiator. So it was close to the cap, but just at the bottom of the neck. Dry all the coolant and warm up the car and see if it comes from top (the cap) or lower. I used JB weld to fix it. Second radiator fixed with it. Works like a champ now.
