have fun

-somehow bolting up a AWD transmission
-moving the firewall back
-making a transmission tunnel
-completely relocating the fuel tank and exhaust for the driveshaft
-making a rear subframe from a 240sx work
-re-designing the suspension

thats just the tip of the iceberg, unless you have a stupid amount of money or a stupid amount of fabrication/engineering experience dont even bother

OR;
-remove spare tire well and put tank behind axle.
-install rear solid axle from a Toyota or Nissan pickup using radius arms and stock coil over shocks.
-Fab in Murano transaxle.

easier said than done. hence why Big_E_Dog was the only one to convert a Maxima to RWD with his 2nd gen and it was a buttload of work

Wouldn't be impossible. Weld an aluminum plate to the passenger output side of the transmission case, drill and tap holes to mount it. I've seen a post where someone said it was the same spline count/pitch. The rear diff would have to have the matching ratio as the Tcase. Dodge Caravan used a solid axle with rigidly mounted diff that could be easily fabbed and mounted using radius arms and stock coilover shocks.

You would have to replicate this

To bolt this on

and have a custom Passenger side half shaft machined.

With a Dodge Caravan rear end it would end up like this. Sub in whatever rear diff will give you the right ratio.

still an absolutely insane amount of work, for the time and money you would spend screwing with an AWD conversion i could build a 500hp turbo 4th gen that would run circles around it for less. if anyone completes an AWD conversion within the next year i will eat my words, but after seeing 30 RWD/AWD threads with nobody following through its easy to assume what will be

the T-case on those AWD vans especially the Chevy Venture vans were weak as hell, ive worked on them and usually the vans get converted to FWD or just sit because you cant find a replacement. Caravan T-case arent any better im sure. usually the splines on the T-case wear out and if you dont catch it early the T-case takes the transmission out with it

If a guy had a donor murano and didn't mind CVT it wouldn't be too bad.

there is an awd version of our transmission that has a transfer case hanging off of it already. all you need to do is buy that, swap it in, and you're almost done!

Would that be ATTESA, from the 1987 RNU12 Bluebird, RNN14 GTi-R Pulsar, the HNU13 Bluebird, or the HNP10 Primera. This all seems like unobtainium to most people, certainly in the states anyway.
What vehicle did you have in mind, that would bolt up to a VQ30/35?

One would have to make an adapter plate and possibly source a clutch disk with appropriate splines.
