That picture says so much.
The picture is crystal clear.
The car has 300K on the analog odo.
The car is going 100 mph. The engine is buzzing along at 4000 rpm, 5th gear. Actually buzzing is the wrong word. The VQ30 at that speed all you hear is wind. The tachometer is ONLY indication that the engine is spinning so fast.

What you can take away from it is that it is an old car(analog odometer), with lots of miles on that is being driven at high speed. The crystal clear picture shows that the driver was calm and confident while doing taking the picture at 100 mph, a testament to well maintained state of the vehicle.

Your wife's cool

Now, i feel I obligated to post this following article because not everybody should do this, and, well, Darwin;

Agreed, the pic at 175mph was way too blurry to see anything.

Too bad this isn't possible in any VQ...

Impressive numbers for an old Maxima.

More impressive numbers on the BMW.

Still, the initial cost and maintenance costs on the Maxima are much lower than on the Break My Wallet.

Different cars for different budgets.
I would expect that the BMW would do better. Still, we are comparing a twenty year old family car against a high-end German luxury car.

^^ I agree on the maintenance thing, that BMW isn't any good past 100k miles if not sooner...It's really not good to use as a daily driver, unless you have money burning a hole through your pocket...

Nobody was comparing the two, BTW...It's apples to oranges, we have two Maximas (5th & 7th) but that pic comes from my old 2002 e46 M3 6MT...just incredible that those can get to 175mph completely bone stock with an N/A inline 6 engine...

My 5th gen on the other hand, Maxed out (pun intended) somewhere around low 140's or so

Anyway, I wish my wife was into driving fast like that....mine is the opposite

This can be done by a vq only if the gear ratios and timing has been changed with extreme turbo boost and nos. The more money in to the car the more you can get it to where and what you want it to be. If the aftermarket companies were good as the hondas aftermarkets.
