A/C (low side) Schrader Valve Question
Can the low side schrader valve be replaced? I'm finding the Maxima has a leaky schrader valve. I tried tightening it some time back. It seems like the needle valve part is starting to seep.
I have a vacuum pump and hoses for evacuating and recharging the system.

yes those can be replaced. They just screw in. You can buy a little tool from autozone for like 5 bucks or just use needle nose pliers. Will have to have it evacuated first or I believe there is actually a tool that you can get for like 30 bucks that you can use where you don't have to evacuate the system first.

The system does not need to be evacuated to replace the schrader valve. All you need is the correct tool made by Master Tool that allows you to replace it while the system is under pressure.
There's a video on Youtube that demonstrates how the tool works. It's probably available at most auto parts stores. Literally makes it a 2 minute job.
