95 maxima HELP!!!!!!!

Just bought a 95 gle.. Abs light is on and check engine.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE? Brakes are good.. Engine sounds good no leaks , knocks etc... Please help . Figured ask you guys first..

Pull your codes bro. There is how to in this section or take it to a parts house as they normally will pull the code for free, but not erase them. Then report back.

I would take care of the ABS light first, thats an safety issue...you can lose brake power anytime..causing an accident.

for your CEL check the codes, how many miles does it have?

ABS is separate from hydraulic brake power.

When ABS fails, brakes still work. So if the light is on, you know you have just standard brakes.

with the abs it might be just the sensor, you can self diagnose with drivers side button and look up code. there's a how to in the stickies.
