Hood switch wiring

Hood switch wiring
I have a 96 Maxima and I cant seem to find the wiring that connects to the hood switch. When I got the car it looks like someone took out the switch and I wondering where is the hood switch wire located?

The wires plug onto the bottom of the switch, so the connector should be hanging down below where the switch goes, maybe off to the side a bit.

Hopefully the wires were not cut off.
