Failing Ignition coils, starter, or injectors?
ExcusE me I disappear for awhile, then have to make 2 threads in 1 day...
Most common when car has warmed to operating temp...and overheating and 90+ degree days aren't helping. Important to note, it doesn't do this all the time...but it's happening more and more. The hotter it is outside, the harder it is to start.
I'll crank it, it may sound scratchy and grinding...or sometimes it'll take 3-4 seconds to start...stalls, or makes a sound like a dj spinning a record, then stalls. Or it'll start with an explosion which causes me to feel the engine shook way too hard to get going.
This seems to worsen as my oil and throttle body gets dirty...but I've not had this much issue starting some of my previous older cars. This is about the only on-going hard to find issue.
Anyone object to me pouring a can of "restoration" in the engine, and sea foam in the fuel tank? I already bought some.

Most likely a bad fuel injector that has had its Pintle cap broken which keeps the o-ring intact so the fuel injector throw the right amount of fuel but since the cap Pintle cap has broken it's just dumping in a lot of fuel and the fuel is just leaking past the o-ring.

Thanks for the suggestions...
I had a mechanic do a code Scan for me. It pointed to the (if I can remember now, it's been awhile), the crankcase censor. I changed that myself, and replaced with new. It kinda helped, but not really.
I started it up today when sitting for a couple of days, it started right up as usual. It's just when it gets hot...oh, another thing is when I get empty on fuel, let it sit overnight...it's almost impossible to start up. It doesn't want to crank over, so I try to never let it get to under 1/2 of 1/4 a tank.

But I know it's generally not good to run an older car low on gas anyway due to tank gunk, and the fuel filter overheating.
