CV Axle

I need to change the CV Axle on the front of my 1995 Maxima. When i looked at Autozone i see theres a 35mm & 36 mm nut size. How do i know what size i need or does it matter? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

If I remember correctly, OEM is 35 and aftermarket is 36
You'll just have to find out which you have

You're planning to borrow one of AZ's loaner sockets, right? If they have both just get both, but IIRC they only had one size when I did mine, which worked. (And I ended up buying an impact socket anyway, which was 36, but I don't remember if that fit the original or a replacement axle.)
