Anyone have a squeaky clutch pedal?

lately, when i press on it, it goes "eeeee" "eeeeee"

like something's stuck and being shifted...

hmm.. maybe i just need to lube it up..

My friends 200SX has that problem.

Dealer said it was the throw-out bearing. I dunno and don't really wanna drop the tranny for a squeak.

i might have found the culprit..
my new shoes..

they squeek..

but then i coulda swore the pedal squeeked with other shoes.. dammit.. #%!#

Try some spray lubricant..>

I had the same thing last week. The springs and joint at the top of the clutch pedal was the noisemakers in my case.

If it's the T/O bearing->

it will get worse over time. Eventually the bearing will seize and then start chewing up the tangs on the pressure plate. Then the real fun begins. AMHIK!

don't use spray lubezz

it'll make the inside of the car smell. Go down to your Local hobby shop.. get silicone lube.. comes in a little tube for about $3.. sliker then KY JELLY.. use that on the spring on the clutch pedal and the door hinges for those door squeeking problems.

fixed it.. squeeze a little bit of lube onto the spring underneath the clutch pedal and rubbed it around..

the noise is gone..

What kind?

Is the white silicone grease the same stuff that is used on the door hinges?? I wanna get some of that stuff. They must haave it at home depot.

it's the simple white/ purple bottle that says ALL PURPOSE WHITE grease... i got mine at home depot (aka HomeDepotRacing)
