the location of the fuel pump relay for an 03 is right under the hood release to the left of where your foot rest is. you will need to remove the plastic cover, a sticky rubber cover and a metal bracket . im also having issues with my 03 it wont start so i have been thru this process i put a new pump checked relay n fuse still no start. i sprayed starting fluid into the intake manifold and the car started which led me to believe is a fuel system problem and not electrical. does anyone know if 03 use fuel pressure regulator and where is it located?

What is the problem with the car? Many people have a car not starting and blame the fuel pump. 98% of the times it is not the fuel pump. if the engine is not running, the ECU will shut off the fuel pump. When you first turn the ignition key on to start the car, the fuel pump will run. If the ECU does not get a signal from the REF crankshaft sensor within a few seconds, it shuts the pump off.

My daughter has been having a problem when car is running just stops! No fuel, no brakes, no lights, power steering gone... She is able to pullover and restart like nothing happened? Has done this twice now?!? Fuse replaced for fuel pump 1st time, 2nd time replaced fuel pump relay hopefully that is the problem? Anyone else with a similar situation? I will keep you posted, thanks....

Had this happen a couple of months ago. Replaced the fuel pump relay since there would be no output voltage when the power to its coil was applied. Then later that day the fuel pump also acted up. It might run for 15-45 minutes and then stop working. Replaced the pump as well.
The fuel pump relay is behind the kick panel to the left of the drivers feet. The panels comes off pretty easily and then you need to unscrew the bracket that holds the relay.
The fuel pump is located under the rear seat and under an access panel inside the fuel tank.
No smoking or sparks when you have that open

While helpful, you should still share which color relay is the fuel relay. It may prove helpful to others. Not everyone is capable of reading and understanding these diagrams pulled from the FSM.
