yep, word of advice to the newb, though.......when backing out the scews go slowly, as not to strip one of them, because they can be VERY VERY seized in their...i almost stripped on of mine

My friend and I took out the radio in five minutes, but the B!tchy part is taking out those four screws, make sure you are carefull with them, we almost ruined the screws.

ok guys i have a problem i just put a new deck in my 2001 maxima,amp and line drive 10" sub when i turn my car on the sub hums,and when i trun off my car it work great... i don't get it.. please help me i love my max

I am vaguely remembering having a similar problem. I think there was something to do with the antenna... if the antenna wasn't plugged in, it would make noise because the grounding was removed. I'm not sure if this is the same thing you are experiencing.

A basketball rite of passage
My battery was replaced by AAA Battery. When I turn on my radio it did not come on. I cannot find my car manual to get the radio code. I went to the dealer and they told me it will cost me $140.00 to scan and get the code. I am really upset after paying AAA $139.00 for a battery. Please advise! I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima.
