E3 Spark Plugs

Just wanted to know if anyone tried the E3 spark plugs, and if so what do you think about them?

Horrible plugs imo, the electrodes wear off and fall into the combustion chamber, i know this from personal experience

All Bosch plugs suck and suck even harder on forced inducted cars!

IMO, spend the extra $40 every 60,000 miles and get the NGK's.

I've always had problems with multi-electrode plugs. I just stick with the tried and true ngk v-power coppers, even if I have to replace them a little more often.

Do the colder plugs even make a difference? I did a lot of research on here recently and everyone who went with colder plugs still had the ping.

Plugs

Does anyone have the model name and number for the recommended NGK plugs? And if you were to choose the colder one, which would that be?

OEM replacements - NGK Platinums (what came in your car) PLFR5A11

Some people like to upgrade to the NGK Iridiums LFR5AIX11

For a colder plug, just change the "5" in the part listing to a "6".

I've used the E3 plugs for 5 - 6 years in 3 different cars and they have been fine. My cars are daily drivers so I can't comment about how they would be in a modded engine. What the Professor experienced was somewhat common when E3 first came out and alienated a lot of people.

Work just fine for me.

Great too hear, they did raise the price few bucks tho and only Advance has them, not Auto Zone near me. Well changed them and car feels better for sure after so long, more crisp.
