new grill

hello fellas, i got a question for 5.5 owners. how many of you have a debadged front grill, was it easy to install it?

Easy. There are 3 10mm bolts along the top of the back of the grill. Just feel around with your hands and you'll find them. You should be able to fit a ratchet/socket in there, but you can also take off the black pop tabs on the top of the bumper cover to make more room.

Once you undo the bolts, all that holds in the grill are two plastic tabs, one on each bottom corner of the grill. If you have small hands like me you can reach down between the radiator and the grill and undo them, or you can just yank on it real hard and it will pop out.

Insert new grill, tighten bolts and you're done.

I was thinking of debadging mine, what grill are you leaning towards?

If that goes nice with your car then why not?... I myself prefer the "Lund" grille look.

haha you like black huh? i cant do black, my car color wont allow me. but they do have black as an option, what one are you looking at? lund or grill tech
