Need to step on accelerator to start + P1320 = Crankshaft pos sensor?

Help~ Car not starting, no sound or anything
Hi guys,
Recently since about the last 2-3 weeks my '00 I30 has been getting starting problems. It sounds like it cranks just fine, but doesn't start up unless I step on the accelerator pedal (and a few tries with that)
Started off not so common, now it happens once in every 2-3 starts.
I've also had a P1320 for a long long time now. Previously had 2 coils replaced after getting specific coil codes, I always thought it was just gonna be another coil going bad so I didn't check the CPS
Anyway does this sound like it might be the crankshaft pos sensor (REF) going bad? If it is I might just go ahead and change it since it's not too expensive
UPDATE:
So now the car wont start at all. At first it cranks like usual, slowly got weaker and weaker until it doesnt crank at all now
Radio, fan and lights work when i turn the key to the ACC position. When i turn it to start, everything goes out
Is there a way to tell if this is the battery or starter? or something else

Yeah, read this thread Starting Issues - Related to Camshaft/Crankshaft Sensors? and thought it might be a similar issue
Nvm figured it out, its the right/front one apparently

First......remove the CPS (the one under the crank pulley), clean any swarf of the business end, check it for cracks, check the harness and connector for damage, and reinstall. See if that makes any change in the hard to start issue before you start throwing parts on the car.

sounds like a battery issue.
even if the lights come on when you turn the key to ACC doesn't mean the battery is strong enough to crank the starter .
if you have the starting problem iwth a strong battery, then your starter or starter circuit is FUBA'red

Maybe from trying to start it so much he may have ran down the battery....

Problem solved
Put in a new started from Advanced Auto and it started up better than ever
No need to waste $80 on a new battery
Also swapped ignition coil #1 with an eBay one and the P1320 is gone
Thanks for the input guys
