I am in the process of changing the water pump and it says there is a drain plug for it located right near it. I do not see one at all. I removed two bolts and no coolant came out. It would be nice to get any extra coolant out just so less goes into the oil however if not no big deal. I am definitely changing the oil anyways. Any help would be appreciated.

The FSM illustrates it as being to the lower right of the pump as you're looking at it. Nothing there? Also, the drain plugs are a pain to get out. I've done it before, but I can't believe most people would give the effort.

It is there. I just did this myself.

It is recessed quite a bit into the engine. I think it was either a 12mm or 14mm, not too sure off the top of my head.

Its there as they stated. Its a little ways in. IIRC its near the center right side of the timing cover towards the front of the engine bay, and is a 12mm or 14mm as stated above
