There's some serious hostility there, whoa.
I've always understood 'pitch' to be thread pitch, for which M6x1 is the answer.
I've never heard of bolt pattern referred to as 'pitch', I've always called that bolt pattern. I guess my terms suck too is that the technical term for the spacing between the bolt pattern, Ray?

My original question quite clearly states pitch of the holes.
It is a machinist term. If you were an apprentice I would give you a block and a drawing and tell you to pitch the holes in the block.
Any way, it doesn't matter Aaron was kind enough to supply me with the info

Seriously? If I wanted to know the length of the bolts I would have posted, "does any one know the length of the 6mm fine thread bolts that hold the throttle body to the elbow?"
I won't ruin any sealant removing a bolt.
So again, does anyone know the pitch of the 4 holes on the throttle body? Pitch is the distance between the bolt pattern. It's probably 60 or 65mm.

It also refers to a black substance obtained by boiling tar. It also refers to the baseball player who stands on the mound and throws the ball. There are over 45 ways to use the word pitch. One of those ways is to refer to the distance between holes. I did not ask for the thread pitch, I asked for the hole pitch.
