Mass air issue on my 02 6mt

So to keep a long story short, I bought a used injen intake with mass air already installed for $100 plus my airbox with mass air. Worked fine for 3-4 months, I did a small burnout b4 a race and got a little wheel hop. My Car then shut off it then started up and idled really rough... It then went it to limp mode and would not let me rev higher then 1000 rpms. I drove it to a buddy's house and left it there. By rough I mean it idled funny and was choking up. Not knocking or anything like that

I hAve a complete custom turbo kit that will be getting installed in a few weeks.
I seen the 5th gen maf mod but i wanna know what kind of maf upgrades are out there. If I can get some better numbers from a diffrent mass air, now is the time to do it since mine is shot...

Any and all info would be great, I did alot of searching and decided to try to stay oem. Just looking for an upgrade hence it will be boosted soon

You need to pull up the codes. The engine must of gone into some kind of safe mode to prevent from blowing up. Mine lost all the acceleration on new years day but I cleaned it up with Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner and it's been working fine ever since.

The check engine light is on though. Just waiting till spring to change it

I think you will be better off with the stock. With the gains you would get from another you might run into problems and have to replace it anyways. WIth a turbo in the works, worrying about gains from an aftermarket MAF should be waaaaay down on the priority list ya dig? The money would be much better spent on a blow off valve or wastegate

I'm in a similar boat myself. Mine will periodically start running like crap and stall at idle. other times it will be lacking power at around 2500 rpm and feel choked. When it runs like crap it'll start running better after I tap on the MAF plug. 02 6MT here too. I'm curious to see what other options are out there too.

It was my idea because i had broke the mass air by over tightening the bolts for my short ram. I then cutt off the rest and slid my filter right onto the mass air... His car was in a accident so insurance was going to take it. He wanted to swap since the adjuster had not seen it yet. My mistake was not taking mine as well as his
I'm thinking it may be my tps

I changed the throttle body and had no luck, I checked the codes and got 0102 and 1122... I know 0102 is for the mass air. Anyone else run into 1122?
